Default Performance…. To be or Knot to be

Lots of performance numbers spoken of but I figured I would post some up to share what I am seeing on a typical offshore run for me.

Melissa and I with 2 tanks and dive gear, some trolling gear and 85 gallons of rec 90. Seas were 2’ or less. I was just trying to keep costs down with speed but wanted to see if I could see the elusive 3 nautical per gallon. Unfortunately that was only achieved a couple of knots above displacement speed. Below are some of the most efficient numbers I could achieve with multiple adjustments in trim and tab.

For those who like to see higher statute (mph) figures you can compare mine by multiplying them by 1.15
