Thanks Botapeje - I did a search on Google for "Marine Surplus Miami" and mainly came up with marine rescue/salvage companies.
I can remember a couple in the Ft. Lauderdale area - will check out...

I used quickfair on my transom rebuild very easy to work with...
I'm pretty sure that system three recommends coating quickfair with resin prior to paint..

Before painting mine with Sig Finish I filled, sanded and faired any pinholes or other surface imperfections. You can also (I believe I remember Tom telling me this) fill the very small imperfections...

I removed my windshield when I bought my SeaCraft and took it to a local glass shop that fabbed a new one for me.. It was in bad shape but we were able to piece it back...

I have the same issue with my trailer AND just bought a used pontoon boat that I want to polish the pontoons on - I know I know "pontoon boat" BUT it gets more miles per beer than the old SeaCraft...

For best results I would get it all out and if you cut the top cap you can slide the new core in as one piece and not have to "jigsaw" puzzle it it.
