Re: switch panel

I agree with Mcgill and John, the bluesea weatherdeck switch panels are great. They also make one with built in circuit breakers not requiring the carrying of fuses, but that one doesn't light up in...

Re: 300 hpdi on 23 SF

Stoney,

For what it's worth, the mechanic I last had my 150 HPDI's to said he would be a happy man/like the Maytag repairman if it weren't for the 250 and 300 HPDI's. He does exclusively Yamaha...

Re: Pics of the 27 in Chatham?

Kernel,

Impressive boat, and very impressive video. What a fish! Reminds me of when we swordfish, but the swordfish aren't that big...yet/hopefully.

I'm glad to see you have a sense of humor. It's almost impossible to exist these days without one.

One of my clients has three boats, a 65 Buddy Davis, a 35 Cigarette, and a 26 Regulator. The...

Re: My 23

PeterB,
Rodney did a lot of the work (the rod holder). We estimated 300 lbs. I have another pic of me laying beside him and he is much longer than me stretched out. He was the thickness of my...

Re: Prop for Seafari 115 Merc I-6

Mcgill I agree with lost, it looks like the "black stainless" yamaha prop cleaned of paint and with a new hub. I think these props are still available new.

Re: My 23

Peter B,
I switched the lower units turning the props inboard instead of outboard- if you decide to try this the engine toe will have to be changed from 1/4" toed out (what is normal) to 1/4" toed...

Re: test post

Thanks Biglew,

Yeah you would think I had a connection on wire ties. I kinda do. I'm in the marine industry, and always liked the clean look I saw in Cigarette and newer Contender's wiring, so I...

Re: My 23

strick,

That is autopilot, a Raymarine S1000 system for boats 25' and under. I have it interfaced with my GPS, so I "Goto" a waypoint, sync it, and it takes me there. It does take batteries,...

Re: 23' CC trim tab selection

Hello,
After careful consideration and lots of research on several forums, I pulled the trigger on 12x16 Heavy Duty Lencos and installed them this weekend in place of the 12x12 Bennetts. These new...

gofast, thanks, it goes to show you never know until you bolt it on and run it. I just feel like the enertias have a better chance of giving me what I want. I would definitely try a set of four...
