Re: Removing old caulking

Re: Bending Starboard
Run a 45 degree router bit where you want to bend it to take some meat out. That way it will not bind and moreover be easier to bend.

I had bookmarked a page that showed the lamination schedule for the old hulls. I think I lost it after the forum change. I did a search and can not find a good link. Do you still have...

Re: the end is near
George,
Do you know the dimensions (footprint) of that console?
Trying to find a console for a 19' boat. Does Viper sell these regularly or was this a special deal?

Boat looks great. Your livewell and transom cap looks almost exactly like the ones I did for my Albemarle project.
Is your livewell angled like warthog asked?

Re: West's Peel Away Paint Remover
The peel away works if you apply in ideal conditions in an ideal manner. I haven't gotten lucky on 1 or 2 applications out of 5 maybe. One day I will figure out the correct formula for stripping...

Re: tsunami cabin doors
Have you priced plywood with a teak veneer? May be cheaper and hold up better over the years.

All the floor pieces are on the ground beside the boat. They didn't look to bad. He said he stripped the floor to investigate the stringers and...
