Re: '76 Scepter 23 OB s/n 30261076

Prices are all over the lot these days. I would say if it is the model of seacraft you like and you have the cash/time to get it in shape make an offer. That number is your call.

Re: 23 sf center console purchase price?

I think the real question is how much will it take to put the boat in good working order.

Assume the boat is free. Do you have the resources to get the job done?

Re: narragansett bay sunday?

Good luck on your first run.
If you are new to the bay look for the fleet at the usual places.
Hope to take my 18 out in a week or so.

Re: Rewiring advice needed.

I would recomend "Powerboater's Guide to Electrical Systems' by Ed Sherman. It covers all the subjects in an easily understandable form. Used it to rewire my 18'last spring.

Re: 18 seacraft power

With a 20" transom you should aim for a motor on the lighter side prolly a 2cycle or an e-tek if you can afford the new technology.

Re: 1988 18' center Console

Having owned a 1990 tracker built 18 for one year now with no serious issues I would say buy it if it is as described. The later 18' boats have an improved stern layout without the doors at deck...
