Re: 20' sceptre fuel hatch

I think I would spend a weekend rebuilding the original hatch. The metal one would be hot on the feet and if you matched the thickness of the hatch it might weigh more than if you replaced the core...

I installed some new tanks in one of my customers boat after he had started the job. He told me that he blew the foam out using a 2000# preasure cleaner. I didn`t see it done but it sounded lite...

Sweet, I`ve heard the same thing in the past and I think that it`s a good idea, but on that boat that is the way it came from the factory in 1973 so I can`t see you having any problem from the Coast...
