A not so bright neighbor of mine once left the drain plugs in during the winter. The boat filled with a lot of water and the weight of the water caused the hull to crack really bad where it rested...

Thanks for your help everyone. I think my search is going to continue. Beside the strange HIN, it had had to many mods over the years and would be a poor candidate to start a rebuild on.
