I had 2 pumps, one where you are pointing and the other basically straight down from where the seat post is, just forward of where the shaft runs through the hull.

1975 23' Scepter Inboard with 1988 350 Magnum original bellhousing and Velvet drive. Mine is LH hand rotation (counter clockwise) when observed from the flywheel.
