I recently replaced my volvo with the 3 liter I/O Merc on my 20fter. I usually cruise at 3300-3500rpm = 23knots. 4000 rpm = 26knots. At 4800rpm =32knots.

Covers for the rod holders

Owning a 20' I/O, I'm very cautious about getting water in the bilge. I've had trouble with splashing water and my starter. I've gone to one of those new electronic sensor bilge pumps that works...

Looking carefully at the brass it does not look to be lower than the bottom of the hull. There is no dam. What would you recommend? Is it hard to replace the brass tubes? Thanks

Leaking floor scuppers

Own a "74 CC I/O that has leaking floor scuppers into the bilge. Whats the best way to stop the drip? Also, any idea why one of the floor scuppers sucks the water out of the boat and the other one...
