What you are seeing on the inside is diagonally planked western red cedar. The hull was built cold molded over a male jig. All the stringers and bulkheads indexed into the jig prior to sheeting. The laminates of cedar are the plug surface which was sealed before the carbon fiber and core-cell laminates were infused. This made for an extremely stiff and lightweight hull.
