Hard to say without details. Pros and cons are always measured in relation to price. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

No innate reason why a professional restoration is not good, however sometimes they don't go the "extra mile" to ensure that something is done as well as possible. It is all a matter of the reputation of the restorer and the price of the boat. Best bet is to have it surveyed.
