Unfortunately mine's an 18 and the inner liner ? is in the way. I'm gonna' have to cut a piece out for access.

Tom,
I found the same problem with the bilge discharge fitting. I cut out a 5" hole with a hole saw to get at it. You can do the same, as the liner isn't going to miss that structural little part and you can always West it back in. Otto

I have worked for a towing company for many years and find older boats have the worst rings and I am sometimes afraid to pull on them. I have pulled several out and deformed many. Backing is very important and you should add as much as possible. Also buy a size bigger or even as large as you can find. BW and Grady use HUGE beautiful Bow rings. If you use your boat offshore and need a tow, you will be glad you did.
