Hi Fellowship, I used the West System epoxy. As I said before, no past experience in this type of repair made me a little nervous at first. The boat yard here in New York gave me a 1,000.00 estimate for the work ( and they said it may cost more) and you know what that means. After studying the West book and getting good advice from you and the other members, I had the confidence I needed. I'm happy with the repair, it is rock solid.Some guy in the boat yard was watching my work progress( he had a lot of glass experience) and he told me if I hit something hard, the rest of the boat would fall apart before the repair area!
