Default Re: Leaking floor scuppers

Mine look like a small almost square wedge about 1/4 to 3/8 thick and they happen to be screwed to the hull, not sure if they were an after though or not from the factory. They are just a small wedge shape that deflects the water, mine are smaller that Scotts I also have a 20' CC. Another after thought on the clam shells, I'll have to ask the guy that came up with it, what happens when you back the boat up? They would help the water right in.

Can anyone post a picture of these wedges before the scuppers. I like to check out what they look like in the way of size, shape and how far in front of the whole to put them. Thanks!

Hey John, not sure about everyone else but if I am on the boat my scuppers are usally plugged unless Im trying to remove water. If the boat is not moving ,standing on one side or the other will usually allow water to enter, especially if full of fuel. Rired , I will take pix but It will be a while before I can post still trying to use up a roll of 24 and have only used 10 shots .

Scuppers,
After my transom is installed, well it is , just tying the stringers to transom now, I will be installing the Perko scuppers to drain out the transom. I now have enough room and fall to have then drain overboard and the scuppers them selves are self closing as not to let water in when at idle or not moving.
Have lots of pics for this process , not sure how to post.
still covered in fiberglass dust.
Also the Foam core i put in the transom, 2 sheets lamintes Coosa, wow it the transom strong, and tuff.
