Endeavour,
There are a couple of guys on tidalfish.com's cheaspeake board that own them. I think you'll have to register to post, but they will give you first hand expirience regaurding the builder...

thanks guys. it'll be tough to resist ordering one of those 27' bear bone hulls and finishing it myself, particularly because these 23-25 SC re-fit hulls are so darn hard to find now. 4 years ago I found three 20' cc hulls in CT in one day, all decent and under $6k, the only problem was deciding which one. Eastern also looks like a nice hull. the light weight of all these boats scares me a little though, I'm definately old school: heavier=better ride.
