Otto - don't know what to tell you for fishing there from the beach. Season is probably wrong for funny fish, spannish macks, and as mentioned above, red drum (I'm guessing here). Also the methods are different. The little tuna / span macks might go for something you'd toss with a lighter 9' stick and a spinning rod, the drum you would need to cast "8 & bait" on a 10' heaver - 2 different rigs and methods.

'course the good thing is if you can catch fish from the beach, catching from a boat is easy [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
