Re: Propeller options and weight of my 76 SeaCraft
While it's true that the prop's are marked. You don't know if someone has meesed with it and not marked it. A brand new prop out of the box could have defect's.
So in order to start with a base line. take the prop to a prp shop and have it checked to be sure you have, what you think you have. |

Re: Propeller options and weight of my 76 SeaCraft
I am running a 14 1/2 X 17 on my 23WA w/200 Merc. I ran an alum for years and then changed over to a stainless, same 14 1/2 X 17, the stainless performs much better as far as holding water on turns and trimming out. It did change the tone of the exhaust, so that took some getting use to. The stainless is a Merc prop and seems to have a little more cup than the old one.
