I posted this in another thread. I talked with some folks at this lodge when I was down in Golfito almost 2 years ago. They have 20 suzuki 115 4 stroke motors some with over 2000 hours. The guy I spoke to said they have had "No" problems with any of the motors and that these four strokes have cut the companies total fuel consumption by 50+%.

Roy's zancudo lodge

Roy has a fleet of 10, 25' center console boats, with twin Suzuki 115hp four stoke engines. His boats are built for fishing, comfort and safety. Each boat is equipped wish outriggers, depth finders, radios and excellent fishing tackle. Roy always keeps spare motors and a spare boat to make sure the action is constant.

Roy's Zancudo Lodge is located on Zancudo Beach. 4 miles from Golfito on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Transportation to the lodge from Golfito is by boat. The lodge has 20 rooms all with air-conditioning, hot water, telephones, TVs, stocked fridge, coffee makers and hairdryers.

My father has a 1999 Suzuki 115 2 stroke, similar to the 140. He loves it, zero issues, except for some corosion on the mid-section.

Note: it sits on a 19 Mako at a mooring all summer. might get washed down 1 or 2 times. (hence the corriosion)
