i agree with hermco- your personal religous beliefs should be just that- personal. You did a Heck of a nice job on your boat.
I used to feel that way too.
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Cor 1:18 NKJV)" I didn't want to hear it either, but God has ways of getting one's attention that are hard to ignore.

Anyway, you were right that it is a boating forum and not a religious forum, so I will not say any more but that the boat looks great, especially the hatches. I was just pondering Gemlux vs Southco pulls/latches but now I have another option. I am almost tempted to buy one of each just to compare, but they don't give the little buggers away.

Fiberglassman, did you use the 2 1/2" pulls or the 3 inch pulls and did you have to build new hatches or did you make them work with the originals (I am only a couple weeks into the work on my 20 SF). Nice color btw. Also, those indentations in the rear seat boxes... Did you build those for the motor steering system or were they original to your boat??? Do you mind if I ask what rub-rail you used?

Frank, not to derail the thread, but I almost fell out of my seat. 70 MPH in a Seacraft 20 !!! I'm gonna feel like a slowpoke with my old 115. I might have to check with BigShrimpin and see if he has any mods for it.

Fiberglass man, you are doing a nice job. Nice looking work.
Glad you found your place in life.
As far as religious beliefs, This is still a free country,
And the currency we all carry. Still says!
"In God we Trust"!
When that goes, I go too!
I took no offense.

See ya, Ken
