Oops.. duh... I feel pretty stupid now. My boat has those indentations too. I wonder why I had not noticed?

Thanks for the info!!!! Yeah... I had noticed that the hatches need something to hold them down. My rear hatches fly open while trailering too. I haven't even had the boat in the water yet to see what they do in chop yet. I can't wait. We've been getting beat for so long I won't know what to do with myself if I don't feel like I have gone a few rounds with Rocky Balboa after a short trip across the bay. We won't be able to do fun stuff like get thrown out of the boat 10 miles out and watch the boat keep going because Dad wasn't wearing the lanyard or watch my friend fly overboard after a particularly wicked wave. Actually, that is a good thing. We're getting too old for that kind of fun.

FGMan...So that is a gray on your boat? Interesting color. It almost looks like a shade of blue in that lighting.
