I had a Sceptre great boat, sounds like a hell of a deal to me if the motor runs at all and trailer will roll down the road 3 miles without a major castastrophy

a bit more power and you would like it more but plenty to roll with

for what it's worth, I paid double that for my 73 Tsunami about 2 years ago. It was similarly outfitted, including the conversion to a bracketed o/b and the Al trailer but with out the hardtop.
