Tim's right - none of the Moesly designs (the 21, 19 bowrider, the 27, the 20 cc and Seafari, and 25 Seafari) have strakes. Potter added them when he created the 23 and 18. Some folks think the strakes hurt the ride - they definitely will add some dynamic lift, and that's one thing Carl told me he wanted to avoid when he designed the 21. The 21 is a wet riding boat however, and I believe the strakes were intended to knock down some of the spray in moderate seas. If seas are big enough to bury most of the forward V however, I wouldn't think the strakes would do much good!
