Ok, but most guys don't use their boat regularly enough to maintain a carb'd 2 stroke on the new ethanol gas. So they opt for 4s, but with something that heavy on the transom, closing up transom and raising decks makes sense.

In other words, the reasons you want a new regulator over this boat are probably true for other folks in the market right now too... (i.e less smoke and thunder)

Anyway, it is a very pretty boat and the original hardware is very impressive! My suggestion would be to leave it up here, and bump the thread every once in a while. Those folks who care about classic seacrafts in original condition are more likely hit this site than any other... just My 2 cents in response to your query about why there has been lot of interest but lack of bids.
