I think those who suggest price may be an issue are correct.
There is a pristine-looking 23' Sceptre in Clearwater with a half-tower and twin '03 Mercury 225 Offshore EFI 2-stroke motors with under 500 hours each. Boat was struck from behind in a traffic accident back in '02, destroying both motors and the transom. That's when I first saw it at the 'glass shop. During the repair, the transom was raised to 35" to handle twin 30" motors, which were 100 hr demo units from Pro-Line. The hull was painted sky blue at the same time (was white). It comes with all electronics including a Furuno 24" 2kw radar. The boat has been sitting for sale for over a year at $18K with no takers. I last saw it a few weeks ago, still sitting on the lift with a for sale sign, with the same price as a year ago - $17,995.
