Nest your hole saw bits. Put the smaller dia. bit (orignal hole size) inside the new larger one. The smaller one will act as a guide for the new hole. Hope this makes sense.

That is an awesome idea. I would of been stupid and just tried to hold it steady with the larger holesaw only. Thanks for the tip!

I used a block of wood behind the existing hole to guide the pilot bit. It worked great.
