Head is still there and seems to work. Previous owner installed a holding tank, macerater, valving etc. I can't figure out where the tank is.
The boat was in line 6's. In 1998 the old engines and drives were pulled, new: transom, engine stringers, engine, drive, fuel tanks (2, 50 gal each) and, I think, at least some of the deck. I absolutely love the working room the big engine box provides. As low as the engine box is, I don't feel the need for the deck space. One of the few things I dislike about 1/0 seacrafts is the excessively tight fit of the deck around the engine. A single in this one is great. |

Denny, I debated long and hard on that bimini. The advantages of a full cover are hard to get away from, but I decided I just didn't want an extra bow. It gets too much in the way. So, I had the bimini made as big as I could without the extra bow. Its about 1.5 ft longer than the old one and gives pretty good shade. When we stop for the day, the back cover goes up.
Dive platform is another one. I've used both high and low platforms, both have advantages. I needed a kicker and extra storage, which pretty much dictated what I could have. |

Hey Connor,
I like a big bimini too, and yours looks really nice. I've had melanoma, so shade is a big deal to me! The front of mine is about 1' forward of windshield and aft bow is a couple of feet aft of seats. If I was doing it again, I'd be tempted to add another bow and have it come further back. That aft cover does make sense - it provides a lot more shade than a sun top after about 3-4 pm! I have a 4'x6' piece of canvas that will snap to back or sides of sun top or front or sides of bimini for late afternoon shade regardless of sun position. I mounted my sun top on a track/slider on top of the coaming, so when folded I can slide it aft to lay down on transom, tie it to aft bow of bimini when bimini is up, or slide it forward and lay on top of windshield when bimini is folded. Now that I have a solid transom, it just lays on transom most of the time. Don't run with the sun top up too often. Love the color scheme of your boat - you have the ultimate Seafari! Denny
