I used the foam backed pleated Chrystal White. I used 1" and 1/2" of the stiff closed cell foam and got 2 cans of his spray glue and put them together and used it to hold the foam to the backer. I re-used my backer board which appeared to be 1/2" starboard. The SS "flush nuts" were installed and SS bolts (head towards inside of boat, threads to outside)THIS IS BEFORE THE FOAM IS GLUED ON ,SS fender washers and nyloc nuts, Monel staples. The SS staples I found were not reccomended for marine environment. I basically just recovered the existing backers.

Too funny, went back to the web site and checked contact info - the guy is about 4 miles from me in S Tampa.
