Exactly, its dry so I am keeping it. I am just going to fill in the missing stuff after cleaning the little chunks and leaves out of the boxes (again) and then lay glass over the top of the boxes to seal them up.

'shrimpin I am still interested in that hatch if you still have it.

Believe it or not, a shovel (or a couple of various sized shovels) works best. Also a pruning saw from Agway works good for cutting it and the shovel will POP it right out in chunks.
I had thought the foam was wet but the guy cut some slots way low on the outside of the boxes when he did the tear out, so the water drains right out instead of sitting in there.

After almost a week straight of rain, and took a break to go 4wheeling up north I got to start the transom layup. There isnt many pictures as we were hustling to get it all done before the sun came over the garage roof.

After the board was in we used the 1/2in bolts and a couple well placed screws to hold the sandwich together.

Then I dropped the corner boxes on and trimmed to fit.

I tore the wood braces off last night and started grinding on the original skin in order to begin the layup and smoothing over of the outside skin. I also started cutting the last pieces of the inner most skin and strips of glass to tab into the hull sides.

After everything drys off real nice in the sun Ill get another big layup done.
