DAMN ! Just a month or so ago, I threw away all my ladder parts ( I had two OEM, foldable ladders that broke in various places ). I had them sitting for years. I removed the teak treads and out they went !

Someone on the site actually made me a replacment ladder out of wood that is PERFECT. It is the nicest replacement I have ever seen.

I had the same hole in the bow - I removed the threaded rod and taped the hole from below - then layed in a fiberglass paste (DuraGlass) and gelcoat - the top is not cosmetically finished the way it should be ( non skid ) - but it's water tight and solid.
