For stains like he mentions - The Works toilet bowl cleaner or Sno Bowl - it has to have the acid in it. 5 Mins is usually all it takes to get the tanin stain off my water line - I use it often = those are the same as On / Off which is a good product just the same as tiolet bowl cleaner. I prefer The Works, I know it kicks ass - do not allow it to drip onto the fuel tanl without flushing
