He built them. His comment. Not mine. I`m not a" I`m going to bash your price point boat guy", which it is not, when you price it out. Just my observation. I hear he has bought the Co. back. I think he had vision, however I was not impressed. I hope things may be much better this go around. Wouldn`t be the first time someone found water in foam in any boat.

If I can not modify your wetsuit to go around my pegs, I will be as we are. I have many brand new parts that I did not "shop" well for. I will start a yard sale thread for these items in the spirit of the intention of CSC. I think many of us have 5 props, spare ss trailer hardware, pieces of wooood, electronics, and a bronze 4 wire transducer with 2 fairing blocks. I have many well bought things for my, what will I do with this toy collection?

We pat many bottoms here in WPB,
Goes with the real estate.

Thanks for reminding me of Marine Surplus. I will be up there Monday and will check it out.

I highly recommend a semi rigid extrusion !

They go on straight, and you can do it by yourself, no need to heat it up and stretch it. Bending around corners is EASY, just use heat gun and a box cutter to cut small angles out of the back side of the extrusion.

I got this one for my 23 online from a surplus place (can remember the name but it was up in the NE somewhere, not in FL). It was under $350 as I recall

Its about 2" tall and has a little lip on the bottom that you use to keep it straight.

Scored on some rigid (semi) rub rails at Marine Surplus...$1.50 per foot.

I used semi-rigid on my 20. Looks similar to Shine's except it has the round tube insert. Also had a little lip long the bottom edge that made it an easy one man job one afternoon. The bends around the bow and transom corners were no effort in the sun.
Barbour Plastics in Mass shipped to my door in the Keys, 50 ft kit for about $300.
Good folks to deal with.

This one will take 3/4 inch S/S. I am not sure if anything else would snap in.

It will only use approx. 300 #8 sheet metal screws
