Sandy,
I know you're a OMC guy, but how cool would that boat be with triple vintage 150 tower of power mercs on a bracket?

Damn Sandy! I was gonna go look at that bad boy this weekend......cash in hand. Did you look at it? Keep in mind the gunwales were made of plywood with spruce carlins, no resin or sealer on the bottom side , and this one looks like they enclosed the inwale down to the deck. It's gonna need some close inspection and some ventilation.

Dan, I could use your eyes and ears. Pm me a price. Day trip. My head is spinning. I had... I don`t know how many dreams last night. He has 15k in shop receipts. Not sure what all was done or how...but I have time to do my homework. Will call shop and ask if they will talk. George said she was taken down to bare hull. New stringers, deck, cap, and transom closed.

Trip TOP`s would be cool, but problematic at this age. Twin 250 HO`s would be bad ass, but not in my budget. Smoke em if you got em.

Tons of pics to follow. Also has a race history. Bruce Frankie and Clark Coit. Spent 80`s and later at Lamb`s marina in Jax.

Much more to come..ahh the onion. Spoke w/ Parker Rabe and the test boat was purple. Not the same boat from his thoughts.

Possible names. Ex Slacker...Planet Janet...Slacker`s Revenge...Really Wide OPen...Really Really Wide OPen...Grand Poo Bah...Racer X...

I want a furry hat.
Spinning really fast,
GFS

Congrats Sandy - that boat has some interesting history! Maybe Carl or Carla can provide more info! You're in the big time now! We need pics and details! Denny

Congrats Again Sandy . . . A nice single 250 or 300 would be perfect.

Since the boat is already sold to Sandy . . . here's the email I got from the seller about the history.

Seacraft gave the boat to Lake X the Mercury test lake to rig for racing. A Good friend of mine(Randy Rabe, Rabco Boat Mfg Co. bought it from Lake X and later sold it to Clark Coit in Jacksonville who later sold it to Bruce Franke. I bought it from Bruce's wife after he died and have had it ever since. It was a fully closed deck boat except for driving compartment. We had it gutted and a new stainless steel tank made by a tank maker and installed it(169 gallons) with a gauge wire and new hoses. All the interior sidewalls and floor are new materials professionally installed by The Yacht Doctors, St. Petersburg. This is where the boat is now. I was going to put a pair of Suzuki 250- 300 hp 4 stroke motors on a bracket, which I never bought. It has been sitting for over 3 years and I have no plans to finish. It is dirty and needs cleaning and waxing, but the hull, deck and floor are in good shape. The trailer has only been in the water twice,I let a friend borrow it to take his boat to a motor warranty appointment.
Thank you for your interest.
