How big and what kind of bracket is it? Do you have any pictures you can post up? Im assuming the transom has been reconfigured to a full transom? If it was me I would leave the bracket and throw a 150 or 175 E-TEC on there. That would be a great setup that you could do a lot with. That bracket will help offset the weight of these heavier modern engines.
