Thank you! I've always been inspired by Carl's designs, especially the really fast ones. Well, the combination of longitudinal and transverse steps just make so much sense to me so I jumped at the first opportunity to try it. It works awesome!!! It's a long story but in a nut shell it's a prototype for a much bigger vessel. The owner decided to build this 25 to validate the design for a 75' sportfish.

This is not an F&S... The design was developed for a new boat company out of Wanchese NC. Chris Walker of Walker Boatworks did an incredible job building her. There are still a few things that need to be finished, like the custom windshield, but she's mostly complete.

Started with 20 degrees at the transom. This hull doesn't have straight sections like Carl Moesly's original VDR designs...

Thank you! The ride is fantastic as you would expect from a VDR hull. It runs so quite it's eery, all you hear in choppy conditions is the engine, wind and whoosh from the water landing back onto itself way back behind the boat. Oh and soooooo smooooooth with very little vertical acceleration felt. With that Etec 250ho I've seen 71.6 mph with two guys and about 50 gallons of fuel but know there is more speed available with the proper prop and lighter load.
She has two steps per side not like mine, yours and GFS's Moesly race hulls.

Just too awesome, it don't get much better than this. That is defiantly a unique designed hull as well as beautiful.

By the way, have you done anything to your old Moesly hull yet? I have finished some testing with mine and started taking it apart.
