Default Link for post-Irma Imagery

Post Irma aerial imagery of Keys and Naples areas for those that need to see if structures remain before going down. At this point, they do not show imagery for Sugarloaf/Cudjoe/Big Pine areas.

https://storms.ngs.noaa.gov/storms/irma/index.html

I sent in an inquiry about imagery for Cudjoe and will edit this post if/when I get a reply.

Here is the reply I got at 0837 on 9/13/17:
Thank you for contacting NOAA's National Geodetic Survey

We have had several challenges acquiring imagery for Cudjoe Key. These include other aircraft - search and rescue and supply that take priority, reduced air traffic control and refueling capabilities, and limitation to our operations - mainly cloud cover and having a local base of operations.

We are attempting this area again for the third time this morning, hopefully we will be successful.

Please continue to monitor the Irma website (https://storms.ngs.noaa.gov/storms/irma/index.html). It is updated daily - usually in the evening hours.

IMAGERY OF LOWER KEYS IS NOW UP
