Yes the $$ is the factor. I might just pull the Honda off of my cabin boat and see how it goes for now. I need this Seacraft like a hole in the head.... Oh well it keeps me occupied and more importantly keeps my son off the darned Xbox.

Well after searching and searching and more searching....and taking advice of others, as well as not wanting to use credit, I was finally able to locate a very nice 1999 250 Looper 30” shaft. Should be good enough for my needs. in the near future, pending time and motivation, I will start a rebuild thread (with plenty of questions) for the hull in the proper “modification/repair” section.
