I would love to have a pair of 260's or 280's to put on the blue race hull in the bottom of my post. It originally had triple inline Kiekhaefer merc 1150's on it back in 1968-69 supposedly. I currently have a pair of built promax's with 260 cowls and Latham steering to go on it once refinished. It is getting hard to find a nice pair of unmolested 260's any more.

Very cool sled. Good luck with your sale. Some one will get a nice hull. Light as it is it will probably be quick even with less power.

It is called contrast...

From the cap, hull and console being "DARK" blue kills it !!
You did a beautiful job restoring it, just bad choice on your color scheme..

Whisper Gray and blue will be even uglier..

You can tell me to GFMS, but it will still not sell..

Paint the cap and console off white and it will sell !

I kinda like the blue.... Maybe not on the cap and console but it looks good on the hull sides. I think if the console and cap was white the hull sides would look good still that blue color. For some odd reason I like it but just not the console. Its defiantly different and a cool color just a little much of it.

I gotta agree about the color killing it. The blue is too much especially on the cap and console. Paint those two components to match the deck and gunwales and you will be good to go I think.

Even my son commented about the color killing it when I showed him. Otherwise, fantastic job on all of the work you put into her. You did a great job. GLWS
