Default Plarform with a ladder

Hey Jorge
I have both a swim platform and a telescoping ladder that is attached underneath the platform so one doesn’t sit on the ladder The platform is great for a pee break for the ladies, putting on fins or skis, a jump off spot for the kiddies or just relaxing. I modified mine thru the years to add the ladder after my guests got older and heavier and later to enable trim tabs. I took photos, but didn’t get them posted before your decision.

I originally bought a swim platform with the 3 steps ladder tucked underneath but the trim tabs were the issue. I would love the platform

Hi Jorge- Here are some pics of my platform with a ladder. I am a retired mechanical engineer who has repaired or modified many things through my life including home items, my Corvettes and Seafari, often when adding something that was not previously anticipated. Bushwacker and I built nearly identical platforms circa 1977. We had the stainless tubing bent and then cut the teak on my Shopsmith. The original platform served me well until about 15 years ago when I added the ladder underneath. To release the platform, the black knob is pulled to the left and the bungee (on aft starboard corner which prevents the ladder from extending when underway) is released. Then more recently I modified the forward two teak slats to provide clearance for the trim tab actuators.

You will either have to build it yourself or modify a purchased platform. In any case best wishes.
