My Seafari had a 135 merc and that was plenty. Not sure about the weight of it compared to the 4 stroke 140's.

Otto, I know that you are in the food machinery biz. My ? if you can help is "dessicant dryers" I think that they are used in refrigeration units. I found an air compressor that has a dryer on it.....

I opened the Qounset link and I have to say thats a pretty nice looking boat. The jet drive allows you to navigate some pretty shallow water. That would be good for me in my fishing area. My boat now...
