Pictures of a flat deck in a 20

Hi guys - does anyone have pictures of a flat deck in a 20? With the casting platform/step up/whatever you want to call it removed?

I'm considering restoring a 20 and removing the step. I'm...

Yep, got him off the kite on a goggle eye. They are out there, if I can trick them into biting, anyone can.

My livewell doubles as a seat. Plenty of storage for bags/towels/whatever when the livewell isn't being used.

Re: A bracket for 25\" 150hp on 20' CC- Pros & Cons

You are correct, but when running, which is when weight REALLY comes into play, the floatation chamber does nothing.

To the OP regarding set-back, I'd go as short as is necessary to fully tilt...

Re: A bracket for 25\" 150hp on 20' CC- Pros & Cons

Aluminum brackets are lighter than fiberglass. I have an armstrong bracket with the wide body and a 175 hp Mercury Optimax on the back, which in my unqualified opinion is the most weight I'd put...

Re: New owner and new member

My boat (a 20) was being rebuilt by Mike right behind your "new" 23. Hell of a boat, I got to watch the entire process. I gagged a little when I saw it go up for sale at his asking price, you got...

Re: Photo Gallery

I've got a bunch of pictures from my rebuild that would be helpful for those deciding between a bracket or not.

Re: Sleeping quarters for a CC

Not only that, but I'm planning an okeechobee waterway trip in the spring. Ft Laud to Stuart, across the state to Ft Myers, down to Marco island, then Islamorada, then back home to Ft Laud. Plan to...

Re: Trailer for a 74' 20SF?

I'd go bunk. Make sure you get a set of forward bunks or you'll have a big scratch on that sharp V.

Re: Spring Project(s) 74 20SF

Looking good. Out of curiosity, how does she sit in the water with that big 4s on the back? I noticed no tabs, you have any problems running?

Re: Mileage Performance Checkup

3 mpg is probably about right. I'd average 2 to 2.5 with my 1989 Johnson 175.

With my new Optimax I do considerably better, in the 4 to 5 mpg range. A recent trip from ft lauderdale to key...

Re: 2004 Optimax 115 for 72 Seafari 20

When I bought my Opti (175), I was told to get at least a 1000 CCA battery. Not sure if its the same for a 115. Ask the current owner, it will be in the owner's manual.

Re: My Classic is officially a Classic now

I wanted to bump this thread as I just went through the process successfully, thanks to you guys.

It was a little weird paying more to register my trailer than my boat.

Re: Bracket on a 20 MA questions

I've really enjoyed the bracket on my boat. I've been running it about a year and have around 100 hours on her. The bracket is great and I wouldn't change a thing. Here is my thread from when I...

Re: my new 1969 20 sea caft

I agree with JW Tex. I would skinny the console if you can, gives you a lot more room to walk around.

My console is 30" wide, which gives me a few more inches around each side. Worth it if you...
