I wasn't aware that the older Mercury engine had an onboard computer like the Optimax or Verado that a mechanic could access to determine engine hours.

Looks like a nice hull.

A quality pressure washer will take off 70 to 80% of the bottom paint. Then you can hit the remainder with a DA sander in progressive grits.

At cruising speed, your "scoop" will force more water into the baitwell than the pump could ever "pump" while turned on. Simply turn the pump "off" while running and back "on" when you are fishing.
