i have used both recorders and the furuno is a much better recorded for bottom fishing, the resolution is much better. lowrance makes a model for a while then discontinues them, when you need them...

i have a 23 ft 1980 septer. i had the same vibration with a seadrive 225. i just replaced the motor and had a armstrong bracket put on, i have not used it enough to see if i have the same vibration....

1 have a 1980 septre and it rides much better then any other 23 i have been in, yes trim tabs are a must , check the transom. i has a very large cockpit, ideal for diving
