Jaizzen, that was my brothers and others same thoughts. I will use nitacore on the bulkheads and that should make the hull ridgid. Nitacore is going to be the material of choice on this boat. I used okume on my seabird. I intend to keep this one light and fast. I am looking at a 140 or 150 hp motor for it. I need it to be very ecomonical.

Luis how did you get the pic to work?
I saved your picture to my hard drive. Then I went to www.photobucket.com and uploaded the picture from my hard drive to my photobucket account. After the picture was uploaded, I copy and pasted the URL that was under the picture on photobucket. I then replied to your thread, hit the image button located under the reply box nex to the font color selection. When the box comes up after hitting the image selection, just paste the URL address that was copied. After you hit the post button, the picture will come up.

Isn't too confusing is it??????? Let me know.

Luis

CaptDavid,

I assume you are planning on transverse bulkheads; where are you planning on putting them, and how high will they be? My 20 is not as stripped down as yours, but I've got the tank out and I was thinking of doing something with the exposed foam (it's damp on the bottom) and installing bulkheads to make the tank "coffin" area tight and sealed off. See my earlier thread here http://forum.classicseacraft.com/sho...b=5&o=&fpart=1

Where is the Seabird site? I have searched for that site but could never find it. Any help? Tight lines. Tarpun
