I agree that under some sea conditions that some water will splash through those vents.
The small amount of water will never overcome the MASSIVE amount of fresh air that constantly moves throughout...

I had just raised my console to flush mount all of my gauges and electronics and had a blank,clean place to start.

Seacraft weekend
Literally spent the whole weekend on the boat.
Pushed off the dock at 7pm om Fri Ran for an hour and a half at 43 knots to get to my destination (Mcclellanville SC)spent the night and morning there....

The hull vents are plastic from Boaters world painted to look a bit nicer than they usually do.
The Thru hulls for the bilge and livewell are stainless.
