Thanks for the up date. Your pin holes should go away during the primer stages. Scratches in the gel coat don’t need to be ground down to glass but spider cracks do. Thru hulls sizes are about right....

Just fix the soft spot and be happy and done with it...having had a 23 there is no real need to raise the deck unless one wants to be anal retentive. The 20's are a different story.

No spray should be coming off the bracket if mounted properly..as noted it should be out of the water when on plane...so either the bracket is mounted too low or the motor is too low and the spray...

Only if it works lol...I’ve got two of them on boats right now and for the money they are a decent cover...the nylon straps Will rot out but you can jury rig some bungies in place...finding a cover...

The scepter is a great layout it has more deck space then a cc and more protection from the elements it may not look as cool but it is very efficient.
