The "Tail Chaser" is made in Key West by Steven Powell. He made a mold for the bigger boat and new cap to fit it. I think he markets it as a Powell Craft.

I am running a 2005 225 opti with a Mirage 17P. My numbers are almost identical to SteveH. The boat originally came with a 19P, but I was only turning about 5300 rpm or so with ideal conditions.

Those sprail rails aren't factory...he had them custom made in Miami if I recall correctly. It still wasn't dry enough for him, but they did help with spray.

My deck was rotted pretty badly...mine is getting a complete face lift. This boat had been neglected in the last year or so and all of the hurricanes didn't help much. Good luck on your rebuild.

update on my 20
I finally had time to start on the boat today. I ripped out the teak floor, console, and did a few other little things. The deck underneath the teak strips feels like a sponge when stepping on it....
